James Robert & Phyllis Louise John Memorial Scholarship
Bob and Phyllis were known as humble and kind. They were unable to have children but had 13 nieces and nephews they considered their own. They were always together as they socialized in the community. They enjoyed going to dinner shows, volunteering at the First United Methodist Church, and travelling. They were inherently generous and when someone had a need, they stepped in and found a way to help meet the need.
Zachary J. Novak Memorial Scholarship
Zachary’s passion for music and service was evident from a young age. He began playing piano at five years old and developed a unique musical style that drew people to him. Zachary served at both Bethel United Methodist Church and St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Anderson for seven years, beginning at fifteen years old, where he directed the choir, played the organ, sang, and organized services.
Women’s Endowment Fund
Since the Women in Philanthropy endowment was established in 2005, women across Madison County have come together year after year to invest in something greater than themselves.
Alexandria Cultural Fund
The Alexandria Cultural Fund was created by a longtime Alexandria resident with a deep love for this community, its stories, its people, and its future. Rooted in a passion for preserving what makes Alexandria special, this fund ensures that the rich history of Monroe Township continues to be celebrated and shared for generations to come.
East Lynn Christian Church Legacy Fund
Rooted in Christ’s call to feed, clothe, shelter, and comfort those in need, this fund will continue to embody the church’s mission.
Pistole-Harp Family Fund
Their shared hope is that this fund will create fresh starts for underserved women in Madison County--offering dignity, safety, and opportunity--and also meet the basic needs of the most vulnerable among us.
Libby and Matt Manning Fund
We want to contribute to the work needed in Madison County to leave our collective children a flourishing, just future world. MCCF is designed to do just that - it invites us into a posture of generosity toward each other and our community, stewarding and granting philanthropic dollars thoughtfully and well in response to the needs of the local community.

Brian and Missy Donahue are committed to giving and serving in their community both through their time and resources. They have raised four children and are now at a time in their lives when they have extra capacity to give They also have a desire to do what it takes now to leave a lasting legacy and have an impact that will go far beyond their family.

Making a long term impact in the community with their children is important for Jimmy and Koty. This made the choice clear to open the McDole Family Fund. They are committed to modeling productive, helpful, and purposeful lives for their children. Starting this fund has served as another practical way to instill these values.
Patton Family Giving for Good Forever Fund
“This encompasses everything I believe in,” Sue says. “This fund will eventually make a difference for meaningful projects and grant requests, focusing on doing good. There are many good people doing good things. Organizations have great ideas that address needs and funds like this one are a vehicle that can help organizations forever.”
