Donahue Family Fund

Brian and Missy Donahue are committed to giving and serving in their community both through their time and resources. They have raised four children and are now at a time in their lives when they have extra capacity to give They also have a desire to do what it takes now to leave a lasting legacy and have an impact that will go far beyond their family.

For many years the Donahue family has exercised targeted giving by giving specifically to their church and other charitable organizations. Recently, they decided to start their own Named Unrestricted fund through the Madison County Community Foundation. Named Unrestricted Funds are endowed funds that help implement long-term solutions, respond to emergencies, and adapt to the community’s evolving social, cultural, and educational needs. The dollars from Named Unrestricted funds contribute to Community Impact Grants given through the Madison County Community Foundation annually. Brian and Missy are confident that their fund will be utilized wisely and prudently. Brian acknowledges that “you don’t know what you don’t know.” He is grateful that this particular fund will reach people and needs that he and his family are not even aware of and will make a long lasting impact in Madison County.

“Now is the time to start a fund. You can turn your dollar into three dollars and make an impact in your community now. These dollars will be well-spent, well-vetted, and have a meaningful impact.” - Brian Donahue
