Giving for Donors
Impact in Your Community
As we look to the next 30 years and beyond, we will not rest on our successes of the past; but rather, take the lessons learned to expand, adapt, and propel our work in the coming months, years, and decades.
The Madison County Community Foundation belongs to the community and holds the community’s memory. More than 3,000 individual donors have contributed to the funds we manage, including a number of estate and memorial gifts. The generosity of these good friends continues to benefit local agencies and students far beyond their own lifetime.
We focus especially (but not exclusively) on permanently endowed funds which will never deplete. Our leadership takes seriously the notion that we serve as stewards for today while building a stronger Foundation - and a stronger Madison County- for tomorrow.
Join us as we continue to make an impact - for good, forever.

Lilly Endowment - GIFT VIII
Women in Philanthropy
The Madison County Community Foundations hosts an Annual Luncheon which gives us the opportunity to celebrate the power of women's charitable giving and impactful grant-making.
Women in Philanthropy was established in 2005 to strengthen the philanthropic voice of women in Madison County. By encouraging the use of time, talents, and treasures, Women in Philanthropy continues to build a strong collaboration of women who are active in making their communities better and brighter. Since 2005, Women in Philanthropy has grown the endowment fund to over $175,000 through meaningful contributions. This fund supports the needs and interests of women throughout Madison County through grant-making.
Participation in Women in Philanthropy is open to all women in Madison County who care about improving the quality of life for women and children in our community and are able to join us financially in that cause. We are confident that, together, we can increase our impact on women and children throughout Madison County.
Madison Forever
A Three Year Initiative to Strengthen and Elevate Madison County
Madison Forever is more than a campaign. It is a reflection of who we are and our vision to be a community where every person has the opportunity to thrive.
Through a generous gift from Lilly Endowment, Inc., we are challenged to strengthen our capacity for greater impact. This initiative includes both a robust matching campaign and community support grants that allow us to respond immediately to local needs and opportunities.
Multiply Madison is a central aspect of the Madison Forever Campaign. This campaign offers an expanded matching opportunity that multiplies the impact of EVERY endowed gift.
The need for flexible and sustainable resources continues. Multiply Madison ensures that we not only meet today’s challenges but also prepare for the opportunities and needs of the future.
