Ed Bollman Scholarship


The Ed Bollman Scholarship was established by his wife, Belinda and son, Hunter to provide educational support to students from Lapel High School AND Madison County students who are unable to secure a post-secondary education due to financial need. Ed had a 15-year career as an Indiana Conservation Officer and was an avid outdoorsman.

The Ed Bollman Scholarship is open to applicants who meet the following eligibility requirements: • Have been a Madison County Resident for 12 months prior to application • Are graduating seniors from Lapel High School and/or a Madison County High School • Have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher • Plan to pursue any type of post-secondary education credential Eligible applicants for this scholarship will be evaluated on the following criteria: • Essay response (50%) • Demonstration of extracurricular involvement and character attributes that indicate potential (50%) Required attachments for this scholarship: • Essay-250 words or less explaining how you appreciate and utilize the outdoors.
