Spring Foundation Grant Awardees Announced
The Madison County Community Foundation Board of Directors approved just over $81,000.00 in funding for thirteen non-profit agencies serving Madison County.
The Madison County Community Foundation's mission is to serve
the philanthropic aims of donors wishing to improve and
preserve Madison County now and in the future. Most of the
contributions made to the Foundation are endowed to support non-profit
programs and services. Awards and gifts are made from income created by
investing the principal of these endowed funds.
In this way, the
Foundation assures donors that their contributions are a permanent
legacy in the community. Pooled with the contributions of thousands of
other donors, each gift plays a lasting role in the improvement of our
county.
Regardless of the size or form of a gift to the Madison
County Community Foundation, it is appreciated by the thousands of
persons living here who benefit from grants and scholarships
distributed by the Foundation.
"The [eCivis] database has definitely been integral in our grant process. Getting to the library to use research tools there can be difficult (if not even impossible) for me since I also run our Community Assistance Program and provide guest reception at the front desk.
We are putting together a spreadsheet of grant opportunities, rated by type, program, etc, so that we can put together an organized and strategic approach. I am excited that this realm of opportunities has been opened to us!
Thank you for all of your work" - Andrea Colias, The Christian Center
