Our goal at Madison County Community Foundation is to assist area residents in making philanthropic giving as effective as possible. We share a common concern with the community – improving the quality of life in Madison County.
This incredible region we call home benefits from your contributions, as they may be administered towards many of the humanitarian, educational and cultural organizations in the area. All this is made possible through the annual earnings of grants and investments made through the foundation.
The twelve-member Board of Directors oversees the governance of the Foundation with the day-to-day business managed by a professional staff with expertise and knowledge of our community’s needs. We go beyond simply making grants that advance charitable activities: we also identify current and emerging issues, stimulate resources to address those needs and help our region prepare for the future.
As our region grows, so does its needs. It is for this reason that we want to assist you in helping meet those needs. When generous people like you choose respectable and appropriate ways to give back to your community, the Community Foundation is always available to facilitate your wishes.
A complete copy of the Foundation's reviewed financial statement is available upon request. As a nonprofit 501 (C) (3) tax exempt organization the 990 report is filed annually with the Internal Revenue Service. That report is open for public inspection at the Madison County Community Foundation office, 33 West Tenth Street, Suite 600, Anderson, Indiana.
